Austin Families in Nature (AFiN) has organized dozens of both traditional (camping at Pedernales Falls State Park) and extraordinary (squid dissection) nature experiences for children ranging from 1 – 15 years of age. With five years of experience and more than 100 active participants, AFiN has a wait-list of families hoping to join.

Heather is now working to attract, train and support (with curriculum) more Children in Nature Clubs. If you are interested in becoming an AFiN leader or want to get your family on a wait list for an expansion club (hers is full) please email Heather. Bonus, new leaders get to participate in Heather's club events with their family (it's great, my family is in it). AFiN will be hosting a happy hour event for people interested in becoming leaders this fall.   More info about Austin Families in Nature
