In a desire to focus solely on sustainable projects April Clark launched Clark | Richardson Architects in 2009. Many firms have a design sensibility that is either traditional or modern or somewhere in between. We have done it all but always do it sustainably. C|R approaches each project individually, looking at the needs and desires of the client, individual aspects of the site and the climate of the area and creates a design that brings it all together arriving at the most elegant solution possible. C|R designs sustainable residential and commercial projects with the goal of creating holistic experiences through form, sustainability and attention to detail.

Mr. Breaux does consulting in Solar Energy Design and green building techniques.

More specifically, Mr. Breaux consults with those who want a more energy efficient building as well as a healthy indoor living environment. He has experience in Environmental Science and is knowledgeable about designing to be in harmony with the local environment and climate. He also does home tours for demonstration purposes. He designed and built a self-sufficient solar house “Chez Soleil” which he has lived in since 1996. This house was off-grid for 12 years.

He has been an active member of TXSES (Texas Solar Energy Society) for over 20 years and was a board member during 1999-2000.
