Go Green Games

Peter Toomey, a Leander, Texas based deck builder, is making use of something that would normally be thrown away. Toomey uses leftover composite deck boards to build games. His games include horseshoes, dominoes, checkers, 3D tic-tac-toe and more. In 2008 Peter created Go Green Games.

GoGreenGames are produced with a blend of recycled wood fibers and plastics that save approximately 31 plastic bags (per game pound) from reaching our landfills. GoGreenGames products are safe and non-toxic and will not rot, decay or splinter.

We were founded upon the belief that we can have fun while contributing to a greater environmental goal.

The 90-acre acquisition has enabled Texas State to preserve the beautiful, ecologically fragile site for the state, while opening up classroom, lab and research possibilities for the university.
