The Permaculture Education Center's mission is to teach, consult, demonstrate, and help spread the word about Permaculture worldwide.

We offer the official 72-hour online Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course and the Introduction to Permaculture Course, plus advice and tutoring from some of the world’s top professional Permaculture designers and teachers.

Our courses are eligible for university course credits and continuing education credits for both landscape architects and traditional architects. All of our courses are accredited internationally by the Permaculture Research Institute in Australia.

Austin Community College has made a commitment to help prepare the local workforce for a bright future in renewable energy technologies. Whether you are interested in the installation of solar panels, power systems designed to support new renewable energy technologies, or simply wanting to learn more about this emerging industry, ACC can help you get there!

Middle and high School students become a Green Teen and explore the outdoors, the truth about trash, what's in our water, and plant cloning. Discover how to shop eco-friendly and to design a garden, tour a recycling plant, and create edible aquifers and recycled art. Take action in your community to mark storm drains, complete the recycling loop and landscape while earning community service hours. As a Green Teen you can become eligible for a paid summer internship to mentor younger youth.
