Habitable Spaces is a residency where artist will be given the opportunity to design and construct their own shelter on site – with very few rules curtailing the outcome! Each resident will work a minimum of 4 hours per day, three days a week on our farm. During our upcoming first residency period we aim to admit 6 artists, increasing to 12 in subsequent years. Habitable Spaces is expected to be open to the public in the fall of 2012.

Carbon Shrinks helps businesses profitably reduce their carbon emissions. We are currently assisting large emitters who face new EPA requirements for reporting greenhouse gases. We also help companies develop strategic plans for long-term carbon reduction. And we specialize in stakeholder engagement on environmentally sound alternative fuel projects that involve reducing the use of fossil fuels such as coal. Carbon Shrinks has developed a unique "Voluntary Emissions Testing Protocol" in coordination with environmental advocates, that provides the public with scientifically verified data on emissions from alternative fuels, compared with fossil fuel emissions.
