Founded in 1984, TREIA represents some 500 member companies, organizations, agencies and individuals providing products, services and information in the areas of solar electric generation, solar hot water, large and small-scale wind electric generation, biomass electric generation and liquid renewable fuels, geothermal heating and cooling, geothermal electric generation, and sustainable (green) building design and construction.

Habitable Spaces is a residency where artist will be given the opportunity to design and construct their own shelter on site – with very few rules curtailing the outcome! Each resident will work a minimum of 4 hours per day, three days a week on our farm. During our upcoming first residency period we aim to admit 6 artists, increasing to 12 in subsequent years. Habitable Spaces is expected to be open to the public in the fall of 2012.
