Roundup, "Push to go Live" Parties, and Greenling Tasting Soiree
The energy of the crowd at the Renewable Energy Roundup was electric on Friday and we're sure there will be tons of sparks the rest of the weekend so don't miss out! Remember to check out the Roundup's carpooling website to join or create a carpool to get out there.
HELP! Calling all allies who can type well...we thought we were ready to launch the EcoDirectories this week but the big data import did not and will work (I'll spare you the gory details). So, we are going to host some "Push to Go Live" data entry marathon sessions today and Sunday 1-5pm. Please contact Brandi@AustinEcoNetwork.com or 939-9776 and let us know if you have a block of time that you can help out.
Keep it local by celebrating with Greenling at its Tasting Soiree with its Best of Austin Bash at 7-ish on Saturday at the Brazos Lofts. They will have local chefs prepare dishes with fresh Greenling products and you can participate by bringing your own dish which will have a chance of getting in the Greenling Texas Seasonal cookbook. So let Greenling thank you for voting it 'Best Local Food Company' in the Austin Chronicle's Reader's Poll for the 3rd year in a row by coming out and enjoying good food, music, drinks, and a raffle drawing benefiting Urban Roots for a basket of assorted Best Of Austin goodies. Also, Austin EcoNetwork founder Brandi Clark, (also 3rd time Best of Austin winner - for "Best Environmentalist") will be there celebrating Greenling, one of our founding business partners.
