The Rainforest Partnership
Presenter: Niyanta Spelman, Executive Director
The Rainforest Partnership is an Austin based nonprofit corporation dedicated to protecting tropical rainforests from deforestation in collaboration with local communities, and creating a connection between those communities and communities in the U.S. in order to raise public awareness of the role of rainforests in climate protection. Its vision is a world in which we all recognize our individual and collective responsibility to preserve and maintain global resources by working together for the common good.
The meeting is free and the public is welcome.
Please try to arrive early since the doors are locked shortly after 7:00 p.m.
