South Austin Food Co-op Community Appreciation Party - Prospective Board Member introduction and celebration.
We're celebrating our Co-op and the culmination of Board Member elections with a Community Appreciation Party Wednesday, June 30 from 7-8:30p at Red's Porch. Have you checked out Red's Porch yet?? Geez, talk about a stellar view--and we'll be there just in time to enjoy the lead-up to a beautiful Central Texas sunset. Show up a little early to take part in their terrific Happy Hour (3-7pm). And if you want in on their washer tournament get there early and register at 6:30pm.
We sure hope you'll take this opportunity to meet your fellow South Austin Food Co-op-ers and take a moment to VOTE in Board Member elections. Remember--the Board of the SAFC sets Co-op policy, works on the timeline for opening our store, and develops the framework upon which this community is built! Don't let your vote go uncounted!! In person voting closes at 8:30pm and online voting closes at midnight Wednesday, June 30.
Our evening will be laid-back mingling with everyone, enjoying a good meal and a terrific view. We will introduce our current and prospective Board members. While you're there, make sure you're on our email list so you can get the Board election results July 1st!
