Gardening for Wildlife Workshop offered by City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Learn how to make butterflies and birds feel right at home in your backyard. Topics include Essentials of Wildlife Habitat, Central Texas Ecoregions, Attracting hummingbirds and butterflies, and an Introduction to Invasive Plants.

Also explore the grounds of the nature center in search of interesting habitats and wildlife.

Registration Deadline: February 5, 2010 (space is limited)

Fee: $10 per person or $15 per couple (light refreshments provided)
