This is the second of regular happy hours hosted Go Local. We are welcome professionals from both the local business and non profit communities.
We are excited to announce that this happy hour will include a brief presentation from campus2careers, a local job board out of UT's IC2 that will help you fill all your internship, part-time, and entry-level full-time needs. The site matches students and recent grads with opportunities at your organization, reducing the time to hire and guesswork. campus2careers works with all local Universities to connect you with students from across Central TX and can even pre-qualify internships at participating colleges - so the student may earn class credit while they work for you. Their president and co-founder, Nathan Green, will be at our upcoming Happy Hour this Thursday to share more about the site, the City-wide internship program they are spearheading, and how you can sign-up.
