The Sierra Club and TEJAS will be hosting a concert event on July 24th in Houston called "The Great Texas Cleanup Festival" to raise awareness about the health and environmental threats facing the state of Texas. The Sierra Club will be holding a paid phone banking event from Monday, July 19th through Thursday, July 22nd, every evening from 6pm to 8pm at the Sierra Club office. It will pay participants $8 per hour to help call members of the Houston community to invite them to the concert event.
