Save the Date: Oct 7th at TCEQ, no more landfills
URGENT! We need your help next Wednesday, October 7th. We need 200 people to show up at the TCEQ to demonstrate the desire of Austin residents to stop expanding landfills and to move to Zero Waste. WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE LANDFILLS.
Mayor Lee Leffingwell, along with Commissioner Sarah Eckhardt will join us opposing the WMI landfill expansion. A large turnout is critical to show the TCEQ, our public officials and our community that we are ready for a new direction and ready to do what needs to be done to stop the WMI expansion. See the press advisory here.
