2011 Green School Symposium
The USGBC Central Texas – Balcones Chapter proudly presents the Fourth Annual Green School Symposium. The conference will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the LEED Gold-Certified Cibolo Green Elementary School in North East ISD, San Antonio, Texas. The event brings together architects, designers, and builders with educators and facilities managers to examine best practices and latest advances in green school building, financing, and operations. Confirmed speakers include: Bob Kobet, CEO of The Kobet Collaborative; Emily Knupp, USGBC National Expert; Michael Burke, Co-Founder and Chair of the Tejas Verde Group; Texas House Representative Eddie Lucio III; and numerous other Texas and national experts. Additionally, the 2011 Green Schools Awards will be presented over lunch with presentations on the two award-winning designs.
