Join the Austin Organic Gardeners Association for their monthly meeting. Tim Miller of Milberg Farm will discuss the best varieties and planting dates for spring gardens in Austin. In addition, there will be a question-and-answer session and plenty of informative conversation. Members often bring seeds or plants to share.

Austin Organic Gardeners meet the second Monday of each month (except December) at the Austin Area Garden Center in the Zilker Botanical Garden, 2220 Barton Springs Road just east of the Mopac expressway. In addition to an educational presentation, there is a question-and-answer session and plenty of informative conversation. Members often bring seeds or plants to share. You are welcome and cordially invited to attend our meetings.

Membership dues are $10.00 per household per year. This gets you a listing in the directory, a quarterly newsletter, a postcard containing meeting schedules, and wholesale prices for kelp, fish emulsion, and row cover. You can also join our Yahoo group where some of the most experienced gardeners in the area will answer your gardening questions.

Meeting Times: Doors open at 6:30 PM for socializing and the meeting starts at 7:00.

February 13
Tim Miller of Milberg Farm will discuss the best varieties and planting dates for spring gardens in Austin.

January 9
In anticipation of the spring growing season and our March plant sale, Gabriel Valley Farms will discuss starting vegetables from seed. Courtesy of GeoGrowers, we will provide soil for anyone starting seeds for our plant sale.
