Food Chat with the Sustainable Food Policy Board!
Residents of Austin and Travis County, are encouraged to contribute ideas and concerns about increasing access to fresh, healthy food at a community “Food Chat.” The results of this event will guide the priorities for the Sustainable Food Policy Board (SFPB), which advises City of Austin (COA) and Travis County policymakers on how to increase local food production and distribution. If you aren’t able to attend the meeting, you can still fill out the online survey to let us know what you think! (link below)
What: Help define SFPB priorities by sharing:
- What changes relating to food you want to see in your community.
- What keeps you from eating fresh, healthy food every day.
- Share tips and strategies on what you do to feed your family well.

SFPB Community Input Survey
If you are not able to attend the Food Chat or the Community Input Meeting on October 23, there is a Community Input Survey that will allow you to contribute your ideas and feedback for the Sustainable Food Policy Board online. The survey will be available until November 6, 2011.
