The Advanced PV System Installation Workshop is designed for those who intend to become professionals in the solar industry. This 20-hour workshop includes design concepts and National Electric Code knowledge essential for installation experience, but primarily consists of hands-on installations of several different types of solar PV systems. PV321 presents knowledge essential for PV installers by providing highly valuable, advanced PV system installation experience.

Hands-on labs include the following:

  • dual-axis tracker with microinverters
  • fully off-grid
  • grid-tied
  • bimodal grid-tied with battery backup
  • bimodal hybrid grid-tied with battery backup and generator
