VCC is a maker of handbuilt city bikes. They offer fully custom, steel lugged transportation bicycles from their local shop in Austin, Texas. The customer can choose from a variety of colors, components and accessories to have a bike tailored to his/her body and personal style.
Violet Crown Cycles is passionate about using alternative transportation to help enhance the quality of life for all. The co-founder, Elliott McFadden, also happens to be the founder of Austin Carshare, Texas' first carsharing service. He has worked on the campaign to bring commuter rail to Austin, and is one of the editors of Austin On Two Wheels, the Online Magazine of Austin Cycling Culture.
